You know money is all that life seems to be about. We start at a young age learning everything we can. We go to school to learn so that way we can go to college to learn oh but what your really learning for is so you can get that job/career so what can you do? oh make money! Why do we make money? Well for one so we can sustain our life by buying food and having a place to live. We then have bills of all kinds from electricity to car payments to health insurance. So we work so hard to have pay all these bills but then we have no more money. So what do we do in turn we work harder longer hours so we can make more money. But what actually happens is once we do the longer hours we spend that money even faster or pay more bills. It becomes this never ending circle. You know when we are kids all we can dream about is becoming an adult but as children we can not grasp the enormity of what being an "adult" really means.
Now you may be wondering why I am writing about this and its because here we are in the holiday season getting ready to celebrate Christmas. Which in our modern culture isn't about Christ being born anymore it's about buying objects for those we love and the more the better. We are that family that lives paycheck to paycheck even though my husband works his butt off every day just so we can pay all of those mary-go-round bills and have food on the table. I wish I could help him more. But right now being home with our children is financially the best for us. Childcare is so expensive why work?! I guess really I'm just frustrated with the way everything is. We are always told from a young age that nothing is fair and man is that an understatement. Well at least I can vent for FREE!
This is my way of being able to decompress and let go of things that I need to let go without judgement from others... Advise is always great though. Plus take a look @ my bows and tutus!

Craziness!
Now we need to gear up for Christmas! And its unfortunate but I have no desire for it to be here. I want to be though. Maybe its because I am pregnant and I don't have any other family around so I don't feel like I need to. But I do! I have 2 kids who deserve the world and deserve a winter wonderland. So I am going to get over my bah humbug and get to decorating this week! To me holidays are so stressful trying to satisfy everyone going here and being there! Now that I have 2 kids and one on the way I feel like I shouldn't have to go everywhere but if we don't we are disappointing a lot of friends and family! So I need to jut suck it up and deal with it I guess. I know in my head that's not what I should have to do but in my heart its what I feel like I have to do. Thank God after Christmas I am just staying home and going to get ready for our new bundle of joy to arrive. Our new little girl is due February 9 and I can't wait. I am very much done being pregnant and I just really want to see this little girl. Miss Emily Lake is going to be a joy in our life and can already tell! Well I hope everyone has a great holiday time! Take care talk to you all soon.

Well in the past few weeks not to much has gone on. My daughter turned 1 adn I really can't believe it. This past year has just ran past me. We didn't get to do much for her birthday we just stayed home and I made some cupcakes for her. I was really hoping to have a party for her so she could show off her new tutu but I will just have to wait a little while. I'm thinking I will use it for her next pictures that we get done. The tutu is so cute. Its rose, ivory, yellow, and a teal green. Its very springy. Well thats all for now. Talk to you soon!

Resurrection Day
Well Easter was nice... It started off a little crapy. Zachary threw a huge fit to get dressed and didnt want to go anywhere. But eventually we got it done. Church was nice and I learned a new term for the day... Happy Resurrection Day! I like the term for the day a lot. Learning that the word easter comes from the paigens it makes more since to call the day Resurection Day since that is in fact what we are celebrating. Everyone at church loved Maddis hat and thought it was so cute that she actually kept it on. The best part is that I bought the hat at the dollar store and just jazzed it up. This is the first Easter in a long time that it has rained but it didn't rain until we got home and were going to do eggs. So we had our egg hunt in the house. All Maddi wanted to do was eat the eggs so her face was starting to get a little color on it from the color on the eggs. After that I cooked a fantastic meal. Tangerine-glazed ham, sweet potatoes, and green beans. It was all very picture perfect and very yummy. That was our Resurrection Day and it was a very nice one.

Coloring Eggs....
Well tonight we colored eggs as a family... I have always wondered "Why do we color eggs on Easter?" Well no matter what we had a blast... The kids love it and Matt being the big kid that he is loves to mix the eggs in all the colors... Zachary loved it and Maddi liked taking the egg out of the cup but then she wanted to eat it. I know they are going to have a lot of fun hunting for eggs tomorrow...
Patience..........
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhha........ To be a mom of a 4 year old is wearing on my patience.... What do you do when you tell him to stop 5 billion times and he still does it. Or you ask him to do one thing and just completly ingnores you. Aww what it is to be 4. Such a hard life, play, eat, drink, and occasionally sleep. I miss him actually listening and being good. I know he is 4 and not 30 but hey a woman can dream that her child might actually listen to her. "Take a nap" and all you get is no and complete rebellion. I don't know I just needed to vent. I know we'll get through it just wish it was sooner rather than latter. Have a great day!

Good Morning...
Laying in bed and wakikng up to a screaming child in her crib... Then I'm thinking to myself... "Why is she screaming"... I wait a couple of minutes and then proceed to get up and find an explosive diaper... It was like "Good Morning Mommy here is a big pile of crap." Well I get her cleaned up and carry on with our morning. Just a little bit ago I go to lay Maddi down for her nap to find that not only was there crap all on her this morning but also all over her bed, her pillow and stuffies. Aww to be a mom. Its not the first time this has ever happened to me but its not mentioned when you think about having kids. Oh well time to go on with the rest of our day... Hope its less crapy and more calm. Enjoy your day too.
